And so, my "diary" of the past few years.  Please click under "Archival" to see a number of previous works in all four of the mediums I have painted in - oil, egg tempera, watercolor and acrylic.  I enjoy looking back at much of my old work.  It is akin to revisiting "old friends".  Norman Rockwell said “the secret to so many artists living so long is that every painting is a new adventure. So, you see, they're always looking ahead to something new and exciting. The secret is not to look back.”  I disagree in part.  Yes, every painting is a new adventure, but the artist can learn much about where he wants to go on this adventure by reflecting on where he has already been.  This ideally helps him in the creative process as he strives to paint the most exciting adventure yet.
